Temperature versus distance

The shaded band is a simplified liquid-water temperature band.

Temperature curves versus orbital distance Equilibrium and greenhouse-adjusted temperature curves with a selected orbit marker.

Irradiance versus distance

Flux falls as inverse square distance, a useful bridge to solar-panel planning.

Stellar irradiance versus orbital distance Stellar irradiance curve and selected orbit marker.

Model

Stellar irradiance is I(r) = S0 L / r², where S0 is solar irradiance at 1 AU.

Albedo changes absorbed sunlight. Greenhouse modes change the surface estimate through either effective IR escape ε_IR or a simple ΔT offset. Venus is a warning: high albedo reflects sunlight, but strong greenhouse trapping can still produce extreme surface temperature.
